Men's Counselling in Sydney
At Life To The Full, we provide dedicated counseling services for men navigating the heavy responsibilities of work, marriage, and family. We offer a confidential, clinical space to address underlying pressures and burnout before they reach a crisis point.
Recognizing the Need for Support
Society often equates male strength with silent stoicism, leading many men to delay seeking preventative care until a major life event such as a relationship breakdown or job loss forces the issue.
At Life To The Full, we recognize the specific internal pressures that drive this reluctance and offer a confidential space to address them before they escalate.
Realigning Identity
We help detach your core value from a strict meritocracy, allowing career milestones and status to be viewed as bonuses rather than the sole foundation of your identity.
Our sessions provide practical strategies to handle workplace pressures and shifting responsibilities without compromising your emotional health.
Reclaiming Healthy Outlets
We work with men to fight for pockets of joy and adventure in their routines whether that means sports, woodworking, or other hobbies to actively protect their mental health.
We help you identify where life has become strictly domestic or obligation-driven and reintroduce engaging pursuits to build resilience and prevent burnout.
Male Practitioners
Life To The Full employs two male psychologists, offering a comfortable and nuanced environment for clients who prefer working specifically with a male practitioner.
With legally protected confidentiality and both online and Sydney-based options, we provide a private, straightforward space to put the burden down.
How to Book Your Online Counselling Appointment
Step 1: Complete Your Intake and Choose Your Preference
Before your first appointment, you will complete Life to the Full’s intake form. This helps the team understand your details, your needs, and how best to support you.
During intake, you will also be asked whether you would like to explore your concerns through a Christian faith lens. You can answer yes or no.
Step 2: Book Online or Speak With the Practice Manager
You can book your appointment through the Life to the Full online booking portal, or by calling the practice manager directly.
The booking portal allows you to select your practitioner and view available appointment times.
Step 3: Select Telehealth and Join Securely
When choosing an appointment time, select the telehealth consultation option if you would like to attend online.
Once booked, you will receive an appointment reminder by email with your secure private Zoom link. At your appointment time, simply click the link from a quiet and private space to begin your session.
Telehealth Psychology, Medicare Rebates and GP Follow-Up
If you are seeing a Life to the Full psychologist and have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, eligible telehealth psychology sessions may attract Medicare rebates in the same way as eligible in-person psychology sessions.
Where a Mental Health Treatment Plan is involved, your psychologist may also provide an update to your referring GP after a set number of sessions. This helps your GP understand your therapeutic progress and whether further sessions may be recommended.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible for Medicare rebates, please speak with your GP or contact the Life to the Full team before booking.

You should evaluate the duration of your stress and how much it intrudes on your daily functioning. If your struggle is tied to a temporary, demanding season like the end of the financial year, it may just be ordinary stress. However, if the stress has become your new normal, lasts for an extended period, and negatively impacts your everyday life or relationships, it is time to seek clinical help.

The cultural illusion of the self-made, entirely self-reliant man actually contradicts the Gospel message. The core message of Christianity is that we are created beings with limitations who require grace and a rescuer. Seeking professional help acknowledges that you were not designed to carry every burden alone.

Online sessions are usually conducted by video. If your internet connection is poor, or if video does not feel comfortable or practical, your practitioner may be able to continue the session by audio-only phone call where appropriate.
