We offer a confidential space for you to talk through your feelings and experiences without judgment [Landing Page]. All therapeutic work at Life to the Full adheres to a very strict code of ethics, meaning that details of your sessions are not reported back to any third party. The only exceptions to this strict confidentiality are in cases of self-harm or illegal activity. This commitment ensures you feel safe and unstigmatised when seeking help.

A session at Life to the Full is structured much like a standard therapy session. The initial session is typically 80 minutes to allow the practitioner to gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation and for you to "download" what has brought you to us. Subsequent sessions are usually 50 minutes long. While we hope for breakthroughs, these are unlikely in the first session as it's primarily for context setting. Our goal is to equip you with strategies to manage adversity and challenge unhelpful thoughts, fostering "psychological flexibility" and resilience.

The number of sessions for grief counselling varies depending on individual needs and the complexity of the issues being addressed. Generally, clients may start with weekly sessions, which can be adjusted over time as you progress. On average, a therapeutic relationship may last from a few sessions to one or two years, depending on your progress and goals.
