Understanding Holistic Wellbeing and a Faith-Integrated EAP
Navigating the demands of work, relationships, and personal growth can often feel heavy. If you are currently feeling weighed down, please know that you are not alone.
Finding a supportive space that genuinely understands your heart and values can be a comforting part of the healing journey.
At Life to the Full, our hope is to offer care that honours who you are as a whole person. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is explicitly Christian in its identity.
Our aim is to thoughtfully integrate professional, evidence-based therapy with a shared Christian worldview, offering a gentle space for support and reflection.
Shared Values and Understanding
When you reach out for help, feeling completely understood is a vital step toward healing. Sometimes, individuals can experience a sense of "friction" in care if the guidance offered inadvertently conflicts with deeply held Christian values such as well-meaning suggestions to step away from faith obligations, leave a marriage, or separate from a church community in the pursuit of self-fulfillment.
Our approach is to provide a space where you and your practitioner share a common language and a biblical framework.
We strive to respect and understand your values, so they can be carefully woven into your support plan without any sense of friction.
Holding Faith and Clinical Practice Together
We approach care with the belief that scientific psychology and Christian faith can be held together in a supportive balance. Our practitioners utilise scientifically validated modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Alongside these clinical tools, we actively welcome your faith into the room. We seek to add a gentle, existential layer to our sessions, exploring reflective questions such as:
Where do you think God is in this moment of trauma?
What difference does your faith make to this lived experience?
A Compassionate Space for Spiritual Direction
Workplace stress and mental health are crucial areas of focus, but a holistic approach to wellbeing can also embrace spiritual direction. We hope to offer a safe, non-judgmental environment where employer-funded sessions can also be a time to process:
Theological doubts or questions
Seasons of spiritual dryness
Complex faith crises or church-related hurt
Your spiritual wellbeing is a deeply important part of your overall health, and we consider it a privilege to walk alongside you through nuanced seasons of faith.
Walking Alongside Christian Communities
We focus our EAP partnerships specifically within Christian schools, churches, and ministries, such as Youth Works. We understand that these organisations value having a clinical provider who respects and actively reinforces their core tenets.
By holding clinical practice and authentic theology together, our intention is to gently care for your biological, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing concurrently.
We Are Here to Support You
Managing life's complexities is an ongoing journey, and it is not one you have to walk alone. If you or your organisation are exploring ways to support mental health and wellbeing through a faith-integrated approach, we would be humbled to walk alongside you.
Please feel welcome to reach out to us at Life to the Full to learn more about our EAP services, or simply to take a quiet, courageous step toward holistic support. We are here whenever you are ready.
